I was born in India and moved to the US when 2 years old. I’ve always been interested in biology and trying to connect biology to human health and wellness.
I started my pursuit in the medical field to become a doctor. Two+ years into medical school, I discovered computers and programming were my real interests and switched gears.I am currently a Masters in Bioinformatics student at Georgia Tech University. I am interested in evolutionary genetics and trying to tease out the secrets that lie in ancient DNA. I am working with the Lachance lab where we study these ancient genomes in hopes they can give us a better insight into understanding our modern ones.
